A Piece of Technology

Hello everyone!

Today i'm going to talk about a piece of technology that is special for me. The object i selected is my current computer that i build myself around the 2020s the date exactly i dont remember, but i was in highschool. 

And for me it's a huge Achievement for myself, the reason is that i did save money a long time to bring every component that its on the computer.

Firstly i'm going to talk about how was maded and after i'll talk about his pourpuses.

The first thing i purchased was the gabinet, or the case.
I remember that day who was supposed to deliver i was waiting all day long just for that.

With that purchase, also i brought the RAM Memory, one of the 3 principal components of a PC, after that my brother Diego, purchased for me the other components and he imported them from USA to Chile. In these days i remember that Amazon stilll not buying here in Chile, but my brother used a service who send from USA to Chile.

This is the master piece, the CPU. it is a AMD Ryzen 5 3400G

When i builded the computer i firstly thinked about the price and the performance, so i did purchased this CPU firsty that includes a mini GPU inside to not buy a dedicated GPU, that is one the more expensive components.

Today by the day i did upgrade it with a GPU! the reason of that was the needs that the University has been requiring for me, specially that i'm getting into the "metaverse" or the VR universe, so i had to require more power. This year i was working hard to buy me a GPU that is this next image.

It is the RTX 3060. A GPU that process all the video and 3D process of the computer


So... that's all the story about how i did builded the computer, now the pourposes.

Firstly i thinked about the working process and how more easy would it be if i had a better computer. These years i'd been developing my first prototype of a game based on our Metro. i remember that one of the first videos that came about the developing was maked in my last computer and it has a lot of lag


So, his principal pourpose was developing in the 3D World and design, obviously. It was my first thing i thinked about, how hard would be to process the design part of the university, i didn't get wrong, the university requires a lot of pc performance and this computer was right by the moment.

This is only a PC with Windows 11, not too different, so it's not difficult to use. Except in the part when we have to talk about the programs installed there. There are a lot of design programs.

And the reason that it's special for me it's that is a huge achievement for me, my parents didn't expect that i would build for myself a computer and i had do it, only learning by my own and it make me so proud of myself honestly.

On My Cultural Radar

In this activity, I'd choose the snapshot from the day 17th August, called as " On my radar: Zadie Smith’s cultural highlights ". In this site, they talk about 6 aspects of cultures. They're Music, TV, Book, Art, Concert and Theatre. The section i found more intersting, was the part of Music.  Because it was one of the first i saw when i open the website and because it calls me my interest almost instantly. In this section, they say about Bashy and his transition to bus driver, to rapper and finally to actor. Also the author talks about is fanatism of his work, she talks about how he innovates the hip hop telling a story with is work and making a good design choises with the visuals also, very inclusive in all ways, that's what she shows more. How i celebrated my September 18th holiday

Hello everyone! Today i'm going to talk about my celebration of the September 18th holiday. wich was also one of the most memorables days for me Where i went : In this holiday i went out of Santiago by my own. I taken by first time the EFE trains to Paine.  (yeah i know i said before i taken a train in the patrimony day , but this was my first time taking an a real service of  EFE) What i did : I did go to the house of my friend Lucas and my friends of the community that i talked before in this blog  (The same guys of the patrimony day ) Who i saw : I saw my group of administration of the community, that are 5 people, counting me. They name are: Agustin, Benjamin, Leonardo, Lucas and me, Gabo. :3 This was an really chill experience. i did things that i never used to, like go out of the city to stay in a really big house, with a lot of rooms.
