A Fun Day Out With Friends

Well.. this activity was hard to make for me, because its hard to make me hang out with friends or get out of my house basicaly, but i select one that was one of the morst memorables for me. that is the patrimony day (día de los patrimonios) of the last year, exacly, May 27th, 2023. 

I'd select this day because with the association wich i administrate, relationed by transport and nerd things, were invitaded by the trains company "EFE trenes de Chile" to visit one place that its the "Maestranza San Eugenio". A place where the trains and wheels of the trains, are maintened and fixed. 

But let me align my ideas and tell acording the time.

There are we, the community i administrate with my friends and i aproaching to take the train to the "Maestranza". Yes, we are a lot of people in this community, there were me and some other people i didn't know who where there, but that doesn't matter at all, the thing that matters its the place that we are going. the...

After this photo, our train did come, how i need to take a lot of photos by a homework of de university, i aproach to the driver of the train and i request him to let me take some photos inside the cabine, he accepted, so i did get inside and a friend of mine did take these memorable photos that i still remember with a lot of affection.


Actually this thing isn't apropiate by the driver's rules, but that was a special day, everyone was celebrating the patrimony day, so there were no problem to let me get inside. and i am and will always be gratefull with the stranger driver.


After this special moment, our train did start accelerating and going to the mistic "Maestranza", sadly i didn't record nothing from there, i was impressed to have a whole train for us only. 

So there we are, the "Maestranza", our welcome was initiated with the visit to the "Taller de ruedas" where the wheels of the trains are created and some others are fixed


There are not much to say, just wheels and machines to make them.

After that, we visited a whole garage, a big space where the older trains were stored safe as a museum


A event to remember also was that the older and bigger train were on the turntable. 

A turntable is a piece of rail where the trains are putted to rotate them for a lot of porpuses, like to save the train or rotate simply.
A event that was the end sadly. Was to rotate that turnable to see the whole train, actually i recorded that but this page isn't cappable to let me put that, but i take some photos also.



And that was all the visit, in the way to the train to let us to the "Estación Central", the group finded a historical train that the company maintain to make it a museum maybe, i don't know actually. but i taked a photo of the inside and me .



Well... that was the end of the visit, the community and i needed to take the train to come our home... Sadly



After this, the train arrived to "Estación Central" and let us go. The community did separated to go to our houses, but my friends and i didn't, we did go to eat something, we were so hungry by the long walk...



So to end this wonderfull day, we did go to eat to a fast food place and talk about a wonderfull news, maybe in a next post i will talk about it... or maybe not, who knows ;)

How i celebrated my September 18th holiday

Hello everyone! Today i'm going to talk about my celebration of the September 18th holiday. wich was also one of the most memorables days for me Where i went : In this holiday i went out of Santiago by my own. I taken by first time the EFE trains to Paine.  (yeah i know i said before i taken a train in the patrimony day , but this was my first time taking an a real service of  EFE) What i did : I did go to the house of my friend Lucas and my friends of the community that i talked before in this blog  (The same guys of the patrimony day ) Who i saw : I saw my group of administration of the community, that are 5 people, counting me. They name are: Agustin, Benjamin, Leonardo, Lucas and me, Gabo. :3 This was an really chill experience. i did things that i never used to, like go out of the city to stay in a really big house, with a lot of rooms.
